Metalworking fluid testing ensures that fluid properties meet the requirements of the manufacturing processes in which they are being used and should take into consideration application, purpose and composition. As so much information can be gathered from the oil, sampling is by far the most cost-efficient form of pre-maintenance, and routine samples are advised to allow for a full history of the machine.
Requesting a sample couldn't be easier. Purchase the number of bottles needed, complete with labels and a pre-addressed package to reutrn them in. Simply fill and label the bottles, return them to us and we'll come back to you with an easy to understand report detailing what you need to act on. We test:
- Oil appearance, and the presence of tramp oil
- pH value of the coolant
- Concentration of coolant in the sample
- Bacteria count
- Fungal count
- IP287 Rust Test - tests the corrosion inhibiting ability of the coolant
