Sentinel Crankcase Oil

This oil has been manufactured for the special requirements of these engines using today’s technology and materials. The traditional technology used in this oil provides outstanding, resistance to rust, corrosion, wear and oxidation, even in the presence of water. This oil also has a high viscosity index, giving good flow rates to bearings and all moving parts at low start up temperatures, coupled with good film strength and low wear rates at high temperatures.
One of the biggest lubrication problems with the “S” type Sentinel, is dealing with the large amounts of water condensate that collects in the crankcase. This has been overcome by producing an oil that allows the excessive water to separate from the oil and water emulsion commonly found in the crankcase of these engines.

Important Note: To ensure continued reliability it is essential to change crankcase oil annually.
