Description

Liquimatic XT284 is a high performance fluid formulated with advanced base oils and specialised additives for use in the transmissions and hydraulics of plant and off-highway equipment.

This grade provides anti-wear and extreme pressure (EP) protection to gear systems, including transmissions and final drives, as well as ensuring that hydraulic system integrity is maintained.

Additionally, Liquimatic XT284 has advanced wet brake performance for use in arduous off-highway applications, where the operating and working environment can be severe. This grade provides superior resistance to oxidation, rust and corrosion, together with improved antifoam performance.

Applications

Liquimatic XT284 is recommended for use in highly stressed plant and off-highway transmission systems incorporating wet brake technology. May also be used in the following applications where one of the performance levels listed below is specified: powershift transmissions, mechanical transmissions, transaxle/hydraulic systems, hydrostatic drives, torque converters, final drives, reduction hubs, power steering, steering boxes, PTO boxes, brake/clutch systems, hydraulic units, et cetera.
